Arcadia Elementary is an outstanding school because of the people involved. Our strength is in the students, parents, faculty and community who pull together to make our program work for all of the children. It is a pleasure to be part of the “Wonderful World of Arcadia.”

Our day starts with a closed-circuit broadcast from our in-house television studio. Fifth graders operate the equipment while directing other students in the daily announcements. Many “stars” are born from this opportunity! Students enjoy participating and viewing their friends.

Arcadia has a “Reading Buddy” program where kindergartners work with a fourth-grade “buddy” once a week for 30 minutes. This provides an opportunity for students to be role models and to build “family” relationships within the school setting.

Our theme for the year is "Swinging into Success."

Arcadia is tucked away in a peaceful, neighborhood setting. The atmosphere promotes a warm welcome to family and visitors. A student walking from the library reading their newly selected book is a normal scene, as our students love to read and explore the world beyond our school. Students feel safe and secure, and are eager to learn. Parents are supportive and teachers are enthusiastic and nurturing.

Am I PROUD to be part of the team? Absolutely!
